Wedding Elopement at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond in Lincoln Park

Quite possibly one of the most beautiful & simplistic weddings I've ever been to.  We all showed up, and they popped some champagne, and they got married!

They were such a fun couple to work with... and their 5 month old daughter was just simply ADORABLE!

Engagement Portraits at St. John Cantius Church in Chicago, IL

What a WONDERFUL weekend it has been!

I am so lucky to be able to share & photograph such happy occasions with families in the Chicago area! 

My Saturday started out with an engagement shoot at St. John Cantius Church in River North.  The couple: Simple Adorable. They met at the church, and are both very committed to their faith.  They wanted their photos to include there (BEAUTIFUL!) church, so we planned the shoot there! 

Booked This Weekend!

Wow! 

It's going to be a weekend full of happy events! I'm totally booked up all day Saturday starting off with an engagement shoot in Downtown Chicago at St. John Cantius Church, Followed by an elopement at the Lincoln Park Zoo, and ending Saturday with a surprise proposal in the Chicago Loop! 


Sunday I'll be shooting shooting twin newborn boys!

Sorry it's been a while since I've updated the ol' blog! 

I've been crazy busy, traveling back and fourth from Michigan to Chicago, doin' shoots, and spending time with family!

In between the chaos, I've had a few photoshoots, and I just wanted to share a few of my favs!

Congrats to the happy couple!!

Doug proposed on the Pier of Hollywood beach in Chicago...  It was an awesome, beautiful Friday afternoon, and as you can tell from the subject, she said yes!!

The couple took some time to pose for some "afterglow" shots, but then took some alone time for themselves shortly after!

I felt totally honored to share such a special moment in their lives with them :)

It's a Nice Day for a White Wedding!

Hooray for Love, Laughter, and Family!  Weddings are SO fun!

I spent my Sunday with Mandy, Eric and their families at the Mill Creek Golf Course in Geneva, IL.  The day was beautiful-- Blue Skies, Cool temps, and so much love in the air, it even make this old lady choke back a few tears throughout the night!  

Mandy and Eric are the kind of couple that last... you can tell just in how they look at each other.  

This is one of those instances where I think the pictures will just speak for themselves... enjoy :)

North Ave. Maternity Photo Shoot

Ahhh....the days of being pregnant :)

It's always nice to meet women who are enjoying their pregnancy (I, on the other hand, was not the "glowing" mother-to-be back when I was pregnant with Lucy!).

Today I got to spend a couple hours with Barbara and Luke here in Chicago.  It was an extremely windy morning at the North Ave Beach, but she was such a trooper.  She even got in her bikini and played in the water!  Props to you, Barbara!!

Luke and Barbara decided not to find out the sex of the baby, so it'll be a great surprise for them whenever the little one decides to show up!

Thanks for the wonderful afternoon, guys!  You had so much love between you... I can just tell you're going to be wonderful parents!
