Smash the Cake Photography - Chicago, IL

LOVE LOVE LOVE how Ava's Smash the Cake Photo Session turned out!

Her mom bought the most adorable head piece and tutu, and how could you not just fall in love with those huge blue eyes!

She was a little skeptical of her birthday cake at first, but once we got past the fondant, she dove right in, and we couldn't pull her away from the cake!

North Ave. Maternity Photo Shoot

Ahhh....the days of being pregnant :)

It's always nice to meet women who are enjoying their pregnancy (I, on the other hand, was not the "glowing" mother-to-be back when I was pregnant with Lucy!).

Today I got to spend a couple hours with Barbara and Luke here in Chicago.  It was an extremely windy morning at the North Ave Beach, but she was such a trooper.  She even got in her bikini and played in the water!  Props to you, Barbara!!

Luke and Barbara decided not to find out the sex of the baby, so it'll be a great surprise for them whenever the little one decides to show up!

Thanks for the wonderful afternoon, guys!  You had so much love between you... I can just tell you're going to be wonderful parents!

Twice the Fun!

Oh me, Oh My!

Every weekend just keeps getting better!  Today I got to visit with a brother and sister pair-- the kicker, they are twins, and just 10 weeks old!

They did a great job with their first photo shoot, and even got a chance to take a nap right in the middle of it (Oh, the life!!).  I hope you enjoy these sneak peeks :)

Lions, and Tigers, and Frenchies, OH MY!

It was a beautiful (...and wet!) morning at Oz Park, here in Lincoln Park, Chicago.

As my family strolled around the park, I got to spend some play time with this little guy! Chopper was his name, and he was such a little tank!!

Is there anything cuter than a baby French Bulldog?  I think not!!

Just Because...

I'm always excited when I get requests for French Bulldogs!!  I've got a photo-shoot on the books this Sunday morning at Oz park with a Frenchie, and I can't wait!

I booked my first wedding, dated for this September 10th!  I'm OH SO excited.  The couple, Dan and Maria, are really awesome, and the venue should be spectacular!  Be on the look out for more photos.

Also, I'll be working as a 2nd shooter for Stephanie Maurie Photography in Geneva for the rest of this year's wedding season. I'm really looking forward to shooting some great weddings and getting some awesome experience from a very talented photographer!!

2 year olds and Rockin' the Dress! What a day!

This morning was action packed!  I made it to North Ave. Beach at 5:15am this morning to start getting ready for a Trash the Dress session!

This was my first time doing a session like this, so I was really excited about this shoot!   North Ave. Beach has a great skyline of the city, which helped us get some great shots!

Following the Trash the Dress session, I got to hang out with an ADORABLE 2 year old up near my own hood!! He showed me all of his toys, made some funny faces, and did LOTS of jumping with me!  Had a great time with this little guy and his mom and dad!
