It's been an abnormally hot summer here in the mid-west... I grew up in an old home that was heated with radiators, so air conditioning was something that I just never had, nor needed... It's funny how children seem to not notice the heat as much as we adults do.
While our new home has a few window AC units, this week it's finally cooled down to the high 80's - low 90's and we've been able to keep {relatively} cool with fans and open windows.
A few photos from today's warm summer afternoon... Lucy grows more and more with each photo I capture. Her personality and spunk developed 10 fold every day, and I'm so blessed to be able to capture all the beginning days of her long journey through life :)
a mischievous look & dirty feet; nothing feels and says it quite like you captured it. the jumping, the little pool, a splash. such wonderful moments beautifully captured.
ReplyDeletei LOVE these tricia. just fantastic. you can feel every sensation. the messy, colorful, joy filled, hot day. she is amazingly beautiful too :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how much they grow through our photographs?! These remind me of when my daughter was that young, smiles behind a pacifier. =) I especially love the one with her head thrown back--perfection.
ReplyDeleteThese are so much fun. The one of her looking at the camera with the paci made me laugh out loud. I love dirty feet crazy hair kinds of days.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun and precious memories you captured. The first is my favorite to be able to remember little toes and little clothes. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these summer heat images. Kids playing in the summertime are some of my favorite types of lifestyle images, you captured them beautifully.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, love her eyes!
